Accounts Payable Accountant

Monitor and update accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and minimizing overdue balances.
Maintain organized and complete filing of all payment documents, ready for audits or inspections when required.
Reconcile bank account balances monthly and collaborate to resolve any differences.
Provide guidance and coordinate with departments to collect and complete payment documents as needed.
Review and process payment documents submitted by departments to ensure they are valid and in compliance with accounting procedures and company policies.
Periodically reconcile accounts payable with suppliers, promptly address and resolve any discrepancies.
Participate in proposing improvements for payment procedures and risk management, enhancing internal controls as required
Prepare payment requests and submit them to the Chief Accountant for approval before disbursement.
Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements or relevant reports as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields.
Solid knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant laws concerning accounts payable activities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other teams.
At least 3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Accountant or equivalent role (preference for those with experience in technology or FDI companies).
English proficiency at an intermediate level.
Detail- oriented, honest, highly responsible; strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Excel and accounting software (preferably Misa); proficiency with Google Workspace is a huge plus..
