Accounts Receivable Lead

The Accounts Receivable Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the accounts receivable functions across all business units. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of the pharmacy industry and a robust background in financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounts receivable professionals.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any issues related to customer billing and collections.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to streamline the billing process and improve customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliations.
- Manage and oversee the entire accounts receivable function.
- Work closely with the Director of Controllership to develop strategies for optimizing cash flow and reducing receivables aging.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including customers, auditors, and financial institutions
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting on receivables status, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

- Bachelor&039;s degree in accounting, or related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Strong analytical, problem- solving, and decision- making skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Minimum of 2- 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, preferably in the pharmacy or related industry.
