Position Title: Advanced Quality Engineering Leaderr
Reports to: Quality Manager
Scope of Position:
• To implement the quality management systems throughout the managed areas
• To Ensure the promotion of customer focus through out the managed areas
• To ensure that all products produced satisfy customerrequirements by creating, maintaining, implementing and monitoring product quality plans, inspection plans
• To support and cultivate a culture of First-time quality, Zero Defects and Continuous improvement
• To drive for continue improvement on both process and product quality through the PDCA process
• To lead team of process quality engineering, Quality Assurance team to achieve all set quality targets through the use of preventive tools, continuos improvement activities and real time problem solving
Responsibilities
• To ensure manufactured products are consistently meet both external and internal requirements. This includes legal compliance and customer expectations
• Involve in the process of defining objectives and to perform performance and company value evaluation to each team member including feedback to employee and define training and development plan to develop them.
• Final responsible for planning for team (man power, cost (equipment, travel, etc.), quality related APQP activies which aligned with project timing and project milestone). Effectively delivery the plan to team members
• Assure for fulfilment of training for all members within managed areas
• Final responsible for quality performance, report/action plan for managed area. Took appropriate actions to continuously improve customer satisfaction
• Other tasks as assigned
• To be responsible for the final evaluation and decision regarding any enquires about inferior product or customer complaint regarding any of the company’s products or services
• Drive team to achive sucess for both Gentherm and individual team member.
• To stop shipment to ensure that non-conforming product do not ship to customer and stop production to correct quality problems or process that do not comform to requirements
• To assure smooth implementation of APQP, PPAP process for process and customer related activities
• Approve for quality plans and inspection plan for products manufactured in the managed group.
• Build, improving working procedure for team member (within scope of work) including cooperating with the process/procedure owner to improve the process/procedure
• To ensure all customer&039;s requirements area addressed and incoporate into Gentherm processes, and manufacturing process. Be agent to drive for customer satisfaction
• Effectively implement and ensuring the integrity of related quality processes within the Quality Management system within the managed areas

• Excellent computer skills, presentation (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Education:
Bachelor degree or above in Engineering
Training/Certifications:
Ref Latest Version of Training Matrix
Experience:
• At least +05 years experienced as quality manager
• Minimum +05 year in Manufacturing environment; automotive industry is prefered
• Proven record of high level of compliance and quality mind set
• Experience in carrying out audits according to IATF 16949
