Air Freight Operation Manager

Job Overview
This position is responsible for overseeing the airfreight product performance including operations & customer services
Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for client implementation and managing the customer service & daily operation
Motivate the team to be proactive in securing ad- hoc business by quoting the most competitive rates and on time.
Ensure maintain high levels of Customer Service & operation smoothly
Manage the budget of air department weekly/monthly & provide the reporting to Directors/Finance Team on time
Responsible for overall airfreight product performance
Follow up daily operation of both air export and import shipment, planning and allocation of staff duties and process.
Work closely with Airlines & Commercial Team for the product development, client solution and growth plan
Monitor the KPIs and internal SOPs of the team carefully
Control the operation cost effectively, find the solutions to improve the cost if any
Train & coach all staffs the internal systems and find ways to automate the process than manual process.
Follow the customer’s KPIs and SOPs strictly
Build and maintain the good relationship with airlines and customers
Coordinate to ensure our service commitments fulfilled and meeting customers&039; requirements
Internal documentation process:
Docs should be issued correctly:
Update the rate, schedule, information from airlines on time & exactlyTake care Internal & External customers
File must be completed before deadline
Support others BUs to provide the best service to the customers
Take care customer careful & satisfy the customer requests
Work closely with others BUs to get the full information to handle the shipment
Follow the customer KPIs and SOPs

YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC

Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Flexible, hands- on, able to work under pressure, detail- oriented with strong analytical and problem- solving skill, can meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum 6 years’ experiences in air freight industry and at least 2- years in managerial experience.
Fluent written and spoken English
Independent, strong leadership, team spirit, highly adaptable
Degree holder in Global Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation is preferred.
Understanding of verticals likes DG, E- commerce, Chinese is a plus.
Good understanding and experience in air freight consolidations, airline operations, airport operations.
