Job description
• Ensure coordination with layout and test engineering
• Create and maintain project documentation: milestone checklist, design reports
• Read, understand, comment, review Architecture specifications of the module or subsystem
• Create documentation: design specifications, integration reviews
• Release Schematic in due quality as per IP Milestone needs.
• Ensure coordination with integration design team
• Create Layout Constraints
• Prepare, carry out design review, incorporate results into documents
• Contribute to the FMEDA and FMEA
• Create and maintain schematic descriptions following Design guidelines (Appendix 2,3) and complying with Specifications.
• Planning and tracking design – respecting company Design Process Milestones and attached checklists. • Determine power dissipation and area size

Requirements
• Hierarchically divided schematics: Analog Islands | Module level | Submodule level
• Follow Schematic Entry Guideline (SEG) for Pad- , Symbol- , Schematic- Pin- and signal names
• Arrangement and distribution of the libraries in the Library Manager must follow the Company rules
• General:
Follow SEG (Schematic Entry Guiedeline)
▪ Layout of the symbol shall be used from the template symbol (cadence setting)
▪ Naming convention of block and signal names shall be respected
▪ Voltage supply range of the module added at the symbol
▪ Signal directions shall be visible at the symbol
Six- sigma design according to Company Six Sigma Design guideline shall be respected for the limits in the specification (introduction by Company)
• Documentation o Module description in Design Spec (Doors: ASIC Design Specification)
Design report of each module (Templates will be provided)
▪ Template for the documentation of the Modules and Submodules must be used
Current values in schematic
Notes for important hints added in the schematic
Notes for layout constraints added in the schematic or in constraints manager
▪ for dedicated branches
• Tool: DesignSync
▪ at least for the supply of each module
• Tool: Cadence Virtuoso for circuit design o Schematics, Symbols, Layout extracted files o Behavior files for AMS- Simulation
