Android Embedded Engineer (AOSP)

The Job Overview:We are looking for a talented Android OS Developer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop a new operating system (OS) for our upcoming line of smartphones based on open- source Android OS. The role involves integrating various applications into the OS and ensuring seamless integration of the OS into our phones.
Responsibilities:

Stay updated with the latest advancements in Android OS development and incorporate relevant technologies and features into our OS.
Customize and optimize the OS to meet the specific requirements of our devices.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the OS to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
Develop a new operating system (OS) for our smartphones based on open- source Android OS.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and product managers, to ensure the successful integration of the OS.
Integrate essential applications into the OS, ensuring compatibility and functionality.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
In- depth knowledge of Linux kernel, system programming, network programming, graphics programming, and security programming.
Proven experience in Android OS development, with a strong understanding of the Android framework and architecture.
Proficiency and experience with C/C++, Java, and Kotlin.
Excellent problem- solving skills.
Experience with open- source Android OS development and customization.
