Apparel Quality Manager

Effectively interact with the Merchandising Technical, Sample, and Production team to maintain product quality; ensuring that targets are achieved.
Develop, manage implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Assurance Systems and Policies into compliance with each customer’s quality system requirements.
Conduct QC team doing In-line inspection to check the quality
Provide approval of necessary materials and process inspection, such as fabric, trims print, embroidery, wash & as per required by the buying house.
Provide enough quality control seminars and coaching for company trainees.
Supervise in the handling of sample evaluation and production approval by reviewing the measurement, workmanship, fitting, accessories, ETC., and giving comments on the production.
Monitor QA/QC performance by gathering relevant production data and producing statistical reports to be communicated with all related departments. Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
Conduct a pre-production meeting
Lead all quality staff and CFA.
Follow up Pre- Final inspection with AQL system
Assist technicians with checking patterns/specification and construction, identify and resolve production impracticalities in an appropriately timely manner, and to make a final decision on quality according to company standards and requirements.

College degree with at least 5 years’ experiences of related apparel industry quality management works.
Willing to be trained and also like to share knowledge to teammates.
Fluent English speaking/ written communication skills, may need to communicate overseas head office and customers QA or technicians.
Well management leadership capability to lead whole QC/QA team.
Familiar with some mainstream global brand’s quality system and standard, such as Adidas or VF.
Sewing or patterning skills will be an asset.
Sufficient technical knowledge of stretch item, such as yoga suit and Yoga.
