Apparel Technical Specialist

Evaluates sample measurements, construction, workmanship from counter sample, SMS to PP.

Updates technical comments in PLM system

Provide technical advice and support to factories and merchandising team to achieve style requirement and aesthetics

Provides technical control to vendor and factories to ensure standard and quality maintenance

Check paper pattern, workmanship and construction for samples proving to vendor clear instructions on how to improve on samples

Communicate with HQ’s for clarifications on any technical information

• Good technical knowledge in paper pattern, sewing techniques and size grading specification
• Experience with handle both Men’s and Women’s Knit & Woven wear. Having knowledge in life style is a plus
• Proficiency in computer pattern programs, computer spec writing such as Gerber, PLM, Adobe Illustrator, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, detail-minded and able to work under pressure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin is preferred
• Minimum 6+ years experiences in practical garment manufacturing
• College degree or equivalent with course work in pattern, textile, apparel manufacturing
