Architect Intern

- Ensure that all drawings are reviewed and checked by Team Leader/Manager prior to external issue.
- Perform duties assigned by Architectural Design Director/ Architectural Design Manager/ Team Leader.
- Follow Company’s design procedures, professional standards/rules.
- Undertake quality assurance checking of drawings and calculations produced by self and that of other team members as directed by Team Leader/Manager.
- Liaise with the project architects and engineers disciplines, as required.
- Undertake architectural design and calculations under the supervision of the Team Leader.
- Assist with architectural design briefs and reports as required.

- Degree qualified in Architecture.
- Intermediate written and spoken communication skills with a minimum basic understanding of English.
- This is an entry level position, the employee must demonstrate a willingness to learn architectural processes and principles. Years of experience: Entry Level to 1 Years of post graduate work experience.
- Basic knowledge of architectural design packages including AutoCAD and Revit, and also for general software packages including Microsoft Suite and Linux.
- Basic time management and organizational skills with the ability to self- manage billable hours and ability to undertake own work with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of International Building Codes and Design Standards.
