As a Brand Art Consultant, you will play a role in shaping the visual identity and artistic representation of the brand. Your expertise in art and design will be instrumental in creating compelling visual narratives that resonate with the brand’s target audience. This position involves collaborating with marketing, creative, design and product teams to integrate art into brand strategies, campaigns and experiences.
What you will do
Conceptualization: Collaborate with creative, the brand teams and other design team members to develop creative visuals that support our brand, campaign and marketing objectives.
Art direction Development:
Work closely with the brand team to develop and refine the visual identity of the brand.
Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate art into advertising, social media, and promotional campaigns.
Ensure all artistic elements align with the brand’s values, brand aesthetics, mission, and target audience preferences.
Create guidelines for the consistent use of art and design across all brand campaign touchpoints.
Provide creative direction and recommendations on the use of art in digital and print media.
Production experiences:
Oversee the production process to maintain the integrity of artistic designs.
Source artists/designers to create bespoke artwork for brand
Market and Trend Analysis:
Stay informed about current art trends, market dynamics, and cultural movements.
Analyze competitor strategies and identify opportunities for visual innovation.
Provide insights on how art can be leveraged to enhance brand positioning.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
Collaboration: Work closely with cross- functional teams, including marketing, product development, and UX/UI design, to ensure a cohesive and unified brand image.
What you will need
Education & Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual communication, or a related field.
In- depth knowledge of art and design principles.
Familiarity with branding, advertising.
Strong understanding of digital and social media trends.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills. Ability to articulate artistic concepts and ideas clearly to non- artistic stakeholders;
Crafting Skills: Strong artistic and design skills, with the ability to create visually compelling concepts. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. (3d & illustration is a plus);
Innovative thinker with a keen eye for emerging trends and artistic movements;
Practicality: A grounded approach to creative work, ensuring that innovative ideas are also practical and feasible.
Project Management: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in art direction within a brand or agency field;
Collaborative and open- minded, able to work effectively with diverse teams;
Results- driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability;
Professional and ethical, maintaining integrity and respect in all interactions;
Ability to think outside the box and bring fresh, unique ideas to the table;
