Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures. Maintain relations with outside contacts including guests, regulatory agencies, others as needed.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Financial
Maintain inventory and purchase orders log. Inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Enter and locate work- related information using computers.
Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on energy management, preventive maintenance, and capital planning.
Actively execute hotel renovations and other projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
Guest Experience
Anticipate and address guests&039; service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language, and prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns
Install, maintain, perform preventative maintenance on, and recommend replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment. Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, etc
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost- savings.
Move up and down stairs, service ramps, sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and/or ladders. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Carry out preventive maintenance programme to ensure facility is maintained and in service for our guests.
Understand and respond to customer’s needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
Responsible Business
Maintain and order parts and supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimising waste and maintaining “green” initiatives.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials.
Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
Identify, locate, and operate all shut- off valves. Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed
