Job Responsibilities
• Assign the work for the shift staff on duty.
• Assign to the electrician, mechanic and general technician and arrange their working time schedule.
• Coordinates all related department and staff to ensure all construction work are finished on time.
• Coordinates all related staff regarding maintenance of central plant.
• Analyze water level to ensure sufficient supply to the hotel building.
• To support HODs to manage the work of electrician, mechanic and general technician
Employees
• Ensure that the most efficient service is provided at all time.
• Assign daily task to each team member.
• Always consult the manager if you find any difficult.
• To be respectful and helpful to supervisor, all Engineering staff and subordinate.
• To be courteous helpful and efficient the colleagues and the guests.
• To Liaison and cooperation with H/K, F&B, F/O, Spa, and security daily operation.
• Control Engineering employee’s presence & performance.
• Plan & suggest monthly Engineering schedule according to needs.
Training
• Conduct different training session with every schedule team: Job knowledge, behavior toward guest, etc.
• To attend training sessions as required.
Communication
• Coordinate any subject related department: H/K, F/O, F&B, Spa and Security.
• Attend department head meeting as per schedule.
• Communication with every Engineering staff member.
• Create a weekly report on the following points:
• Organize control & monitor monthly Engineering inventory.
• Maintain guest room, Kitchen equipment, F&B equipment, restaurant aspect with Housekeeping, F&B, F/O, & propose possible upgrade.
Control
• Major difficulty related with M&E system, employee & solution for each subject.
• Current training program & examination results.
• Keep track of all operational cost according to budget.
• Control and prepare spare parts together with store clerk.
• Acknowledgment of upcoming functions.
• To take action immediately and follow up on any guest requirements or requests.
