Network within the respective accounts to find those key decisionmakers, their support staff and other relationship opportunities
Conduct or participate in prospective clients&039; interviews and helpdrive MICE conversion
Conduct or participate in client meetings as well as plan andcoordinate familiarization tours, entertainments and site inspections
Manage and develop portfolio of Corporate/DMCaccounts with MICE Potential to maximize market share and revenues;
Assess MICE accounts and their opportunities, as a result createaccount plans as per the Hyatt template and execute strategies and tactics todrive revenue and market share
Ensure accurate Account Profiles and Account Intelligence andPursuit Strategies are undertaken, completed and posted to appropriatecommunication channels and sales systems
Use both account interaction and publicly available tools to monitorcompetitors&039; activities, in line with Hyatt counsel, as it relates to both Hyatt and the portfolio of accounts and share relevant information with keystakeholders
Gather information on current and prospective clients / contacts togenerate incremental business
Keep an accurate record ofall activities (sales calls, telesales, entertainment) made for futurereference and control purposes in the sales system
Other duties and responsibilities
Support in the MICE negotiate phase if required and complete tenders
Establishes and continuouslyupdates mailing lists
Provides feedback to management onchanging market conditions, including trends in competition
PEOPLE
Works with superior in thepreparation and management of the Department’s budget
Works with superior on manpowerplanning and management needs
GUEST EXPERIENCE
Attends major sales/PR relatedfunctions within the hotel and monthly networking events in other venues
Handle and manage clients&039; queriesor issues
Meets with guests from majorproducers/organizers of events staying in the hotel to ensure customersatisfaction
