- To maintain close cooperation with the tour operators and their representatives
- Daily check of the rate check report
- To be responsible for a proper handling of the different extranets and channel manager
- To be responsible for the smooth running of the Front Office area/Infocentre and that work there is performed in a qualified and proper way according to the ROBINSON standards
- To be responsible for a proper processing with all kinds of correspondence
- To be responsible for an optimal occupancy allocation with the collaboration of trading & pricing department in Hannover
- To arrange staff rosters and assess staff members, carry out training within the framework of the Crew Training system
- To prepare the day- end figures, make daily balance checks & corrections of the daily turnover
- To inform the Front Office Manager about incidents that affect the area of work
- To be responsible for creating invoices for all tour operators
- To be responsible for a proper hand over after the shift
- To be responsible that the rooms are allocated in good time considering the wishes of guests
- Deputize the Front Office Manager for all department tasks in their absence
- To be responsible for the proper care and maintenance of the material and the installation in the entire Front Office area and, if necessary, in the Infocentre area as well as the procurement of replacement incidentals
- To participate at head of department meetings as representative of the Front Office Manager
- To become integrated in the overall team and its programmes, e.g. participation in shows and evening events
- To be responsible for the proper handling of the cash box receipts/supervision of the currency and foreign exchanges considering the national regulations
- To manage the staff
- To put the ROBINSON concept into practice
- To be responsible for a proper processing of reservations and guest profiles by means of the PMS System
- To deal with any special wishes and complaints of guests and ensure that any necessary measures are performed
- To prepare booking previews, statistics and reports in accordance with the local requirements
- To be responsible for a proper check- in, check- out, and service permanent according to „service for value“ scripts
- To be responsible for creating, entering and booking the hotel invoices by means of the PMS system
Yêu cầu công việc
- College/University degree in Hospitality, Front Office, or a related field
- Previous experience in a hotel environment, preferably as an Assistant Front Office Manager or similar role
- Strong guest service mindset with proven supervisory and team management skills
- Professional appearance, positive “can- do” attitude, and good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Effective time management and ability to work under pressure
- Good command of English; German language is an advantage
