Assistant Production Manager

Position: Assistant Production/Operation Manager

Assists Production manager to allocate and manage staffing resources according to changing needs
Any other duties assigned by Superior or Management
Co- operate with various team: Logistics unloading/loading, IT team, rigging team, internal and external stakeholders, etc
Collaborate with project managers, QC manager and related personnel to develop production plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of projects
Overseeing Production processes to ensure high productivity and minimises material wastage
Identify hazards in safety, health, security and environment and address safety issues with safety department
Follow up with warehouse and purchasing team to ensure all resources (material, tools and machines) adapt production requirement and in line with project schedule.
Maintenance of Production equipment / Organising repair & maintenance
Ensure high- level housekeeping in production area.
Monitoring all production activities from fabrication to delivery: structure, piping, mechanical, vessel, E&I, painting, scaffolding, insulation, packing & delivery
Assists in CNC working plan, machine working plan, lifting and transportation
Lead and manage production team by giving them guidance and direction
Implements, maintains and communicate the Safety & Quality Management System.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the Marine or Oil & Gas industry
Good command of English is a requirement
Familiar with structural and piping knowledge in the marine & Oil and Gas industry will be an added advantage
Good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Willing to commit overtime as and when required
