Assistant Restaurant Manager

• Manages the punctuality and grooming of all team members, ensuring that they have the correct uniform and have a high level of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Monitors operations and schedules and manages team effectively and efficiently in both peak periods and low business periods.
• Ensures that all team members deliver a high level of guest service at all times.
• Oversees the preparation and update of training materials.
• Rosters team members effectively and efficiently.
• Ensures that all team members are fully up to date with the product knowledge and the restaurant food and beverage menu / offerings.
• Reports customer issues to the Directors.
• Checks customer satisfaction on a daily basis and reports back to the Directors daily.
• Works with the Outlet manager and supervisors to train team members in guest service skills.
• Ensures restaurant standards have been implemented at an international level.
• Ensures that all team members work in a supportive and flexible manner with each other.
• Handles all customer issues and queries in a polite and efficient manner, ensuring problems are resolved properly and within reasonable time frames.

Experience in an proffesional environment.
Excellent skills in Guest service and Public Relations, good in English
Education: University degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management

Experience: At least 3- 5 years experience in Assistant to Operations Manager in luxury hotels/ resorts/ restaurant or in similar role
Good knowledge in F&B, with main focus in healthy and beverage options, manages multiple outlets, trains the team and is well organised
