BASIC FUNCTION:
To work under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales, and adhering to policies and procedures as meted out by the designated hotels and company, the incumbent herein oversees and directs all aspects of sales activities with the objective of achieving goals consistently
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regular visiting potential clients to prospect for new business.
Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails
contracts.
Prepare and issue client proposal letters, thank you letters and additional
correspondence as necessary.
Competitors&039; activities: Keep up with what competitors are doing in the marketplace; ensure our competitiveness at all time.
General Sales Agents: Maintain a strong working relation and make use of their expertise to maximize sales force and sales coverage in their responsible markets. 15. To attend to Sales & Marketing meeting or assigned by Director of Sales.
Cover market segments as directed and assigned by Director of Sales
To liaise Sales Coverage: Corporate Segment, Government and Embassy 9. Sales Promotion: Promote and distribute promotions to targeted accounts 10. Reports & Returns: Provide Feedback to Director of Sales on changing market conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result in general market idea. 11. Customer Relation: Maintain good contact with existing customers. Entertains customer as needed.
To promptly respond to answer all phone, fax, e- mail, letter queries, within 24 hours or whatever the reason may be.
To remain good relations with all departments within the hotel.
Arrange an accompany clients on site inspection tour.
Put into practice all training received relating to job knowledge and skills and the hotel&039;s culture.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
To achieve sales objective and goal to generate maximum high yield in accordance with the specific sales action plan

CRITERIA:
Computer literate
Ability to develop effective motivational strategies
Bachelor Degree in related field
Minimum 3- 5 years in similar position in international hotels
Strong administrative skills, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Good health, mature and pleasant personality and neat appearance
