* Reporting line
Reports to General Manager
* Overview of duties
• Maintaining the image of professionalism while attending or liaison with government authorities, i.e. Police, Fire Brigade etc.
• Make a report to the General Manager upon request.
• To undertake any other assignment as required by the General Manager.
• Implement, supervise and enforce the safety and security operation of the Hotel.
• In charge of handling all unusual guest or employees problem, i.e. disorderly conduct, theft, death, bomb threat, fire or safety hazards, employee or guest accident, robberies, employee dishonesty etc.
• To establish and maintain safety and security of our customer and employees and all assets belonging to them and the Hotel through personalized, courteous and friendly service.
* Main responsibilities
Customer relations
• Gives priority to guest relations, while taking care to respect administrative procedures
• Anticipates guests&039; needs and takes them into consideration. Handles guests&039; requests for information and provides answers.
• Handles any customer objections, comments or complaints; provides a response as soon as possible while the guest is still at the hotel.
• Assist hotel guests whenever require.
Professional techniques / Production
• Make schedule of weekly operation and coordinate the activities of the department.
• Fully aware fire emergency and typhoon procedures
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer for control of lock and key system in the hotel.
• To manage and control security camera system, preventing fire system. To co-ordinate with relative sections to train staff specialist in preventing and fighting fire inside working place.
• Provide customer a secure and safe environment combined with interaction with both guest and employees and being available for information and advice.
• Implement safety and security training program and ensure effective dissemination of procedures and policies to all employees.

Team management and cross-departmental responsibilities
• Assures the interface between all hotel departments and service-providers if necessary.
• Helps train and develop other staff in the team.
Commercial / Sales
• Applies and actively supports the hotel&039;s pricing policy in order to increase REVPAR.
• Conducts visits of the hotel and points of sale. Gives feedback to the Sales department.
• Promotes the hotel&039;s range of services in order to increase sales.
• Encourages synergy within the marketplace by applying the inter-hotel coordination policy. Advises guests on potential trips to other Accor hotels.
• Promotes the brand and/or Group loyalty programme, adapting the sales pitch to suit the guest&039;s needs.
Management and administration
• Respects procedures governing invoicing and cash operations
• May be asked to undertake administrative tasks as needed
• Manages the cash under his/her responsibility
Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment
• Knows and applies the hotel&039;s safety regulations (in case of fire etc)
• Ensures the safety of people and property
• Ensures that the workplace remains clean and tidy
• Respects the hotel&039;s commitments to the ""Environment Charter"" (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc)

* Education / Professional experience
• The security of our guests, staff and their property and of resort property is of paramount
importance. This must be achieved in a professional working manner to ensure a good image for
the Resort. This requires the whole Security Team conduct themselves according to the Rules and
Regulations of the Resort on appearance, attitude and behavior, which are set thereafter.
* Skills / Qualities
