Role
The Assistant Spa Manager supports the Spa Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring service standards are consistently upheld by supervisors and senior therapists. They lead team development, enhance guest experience, and contribute to financial performance through strategic planning and productivity management. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to excellence in both service and team growth. The Assistant Spa Manager will report directly to the Spa Manager.
Responsibilities
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of spa team members. Empower supervisors and senior therapists to lead by example, communicate standards effectively, and nurturing team cohesion.
• Monitor and manage spa inventory, including retail and professional products, ensuring accurate tracking, timely replenishment, and proper distribution to support daily operations
• Assist in evaluating employee performance, support professional growth, and work closely with the Spa Manager to refine policies, improve efficiency, and uphold brand integrity.
• Facilitate ongoing training and clear communication to ensure senior therapists and team leaders uphold service excellence and operational consistency.
• Implement and maintain clear, standardized procedures for spa operations and treatments, ensuring consistency, safety, and professionalism in every service delivered.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to maintain pristine spa environments and ensure all wellness equipment (e.g., yoga pavilion, gym, Pilates studio, treatment rooms) is safe, clean, and fully functional.
• Monitor service delivery, address guest concerns promptly, and implement corrective actions where needed. Ensure all treatments meet Aman Spa’s quality benchmarks.
• Supervise and guide daily spa operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently and in alignment with established standards.
• Recommend personalized treatments and wellness programs tailored to individual guest needs and skill levels, enhancing satisfaction and encouraging repeat visits.
