* Administrative Support:
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment with corporate strategies
- Organize and coordinate business travel, including itineraries and accommodations.
- Manage and prioritize the MD’s calendar, appointments, and meetings.
- Prepare meeting agendas, attend meetings with the MD, and take detailed meeting minutes.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders.
- Perform ad hoc administrative tasks and project coordination as required.
- Maintain records, files, and documentation to facilitate quick access to information.
- Coordinate and manage communication, both written and verbal, on behalf of the MD.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documents for MD meetings and decision- making.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Legal Management:
Legal Support:
- Assist with dispute resolution, including liaising with external legal counsel.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to the organization and departments on various matters including contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property, etc.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure that the company’s policies, procedures, and practices comply with legal requirements and regulatory standards.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Monitor and manage the organization’s legal and compliance risks.
- Keep abreast of new laws and regulations affecting the business and advise the MD on necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, health & safety regulations, and industry- specific rules.
Corporate Affairs:
- Manage the company’s legal filings, including corporate records.
- Oversee intellectual property matters such as trademarks, patents, and copyrights.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and submissions to government bodies or regulatory agencies.
* Other Duties:
Perform any other duties assigned by the Managing Director.
