We are looking for a Associate Media Director to define media performance direction, govern large- scale media investments, and scale media capability to support long- term business growth.
Job Description
Media Strategy & Proposal Development (30%)
Prepare, structure, and present media sections in client proposals, pitch decks, and strategic performance reviews.
Lead the development of media strategies and media proposals for performance, branding, and integrated IMC campaigns with a strong focus on ROI and business impact.
Define and own channel mix strategies based on business objectives and performance priorities.
Define budget allocation and phasing strategies to ensure efficiency, scalability, and performance control.
Translate business and communication strategies into actionable media solutions including platform selection, format strategy, bidding logic, and optimization approach.
Define audience segmentation approaches aligned with targeting, funnel stages, and conversion goals.
Develop master media roadmaps and frameworks for integrated IMC projects, clearly defining the role of paid media across digital platforms, social channels, PR amplification, production, and event phases.
Establish KPI frameworks, performance benchmarks, and success metrics for media campaigns.
Media Execution & Campaign Delivery (10%)
Conduct pre- launch checks to ensure naming conventions, tracking implementation, and setup requirements are correctly followed.
Support and execute paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other approved platforms in line with approved media plans and internal guidelines.
Assist in uploading creatives, configuring campaign objectives, targeting logic, budgets, placements, and tracking links to ensure campaigns are technically ready before launch.
Monitor live campaigns on a daily basis to ensure stable delivery and timely identification of technical or delivery issues.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting (15%)
Consolidate performance data for internal reviews and client- facing performance reports.
Collect weekly performance data directly from media platforms to support internal tracking and reporting.

Monitor key performance indicators including spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, and CPM, and flag abnormal fluctuations or delivery risks.
Media Performance Optimization (10%)
Monitor campaign performance continuously and execute optimization actions related to budget pacing, bidding strategies, targeting logic, and creative rotation.
Update performance reports, dashboards, and tracking files accurately and within agreed timelines.
Review campaign setups and optimization activities conducted by junior team members to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance.
Identify execution or performance risks early and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
Execute structured testing activities for audiences, creatives, formats, and bidding approaches to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Track and analyze performance changes after optimization actions to evaluate impact and effectiveness.
Identify underperforming components within campaigns and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
Media Operations & Internal Coordination (10%)
Coordinate closely with Account teams to ensure performance updates, insights, and recommendations are accurate, aligned, and ready for client communication.
Coordinate with Creative and Planning teams to improve overall effectiveness based on media performance data.
Follow internal media processes, documentation standards, and reporting requirements consistently.
Ensure all media- related communication is accurate, timely, and data- backed.
Oversee media cost tracking, reconciliation, and operational compliance in coordination with Finance and Account teams.
Media Governance, Data & Learning (10%)
Verify tracking setup, conversion events, and data flow before and during campaigns to ensure data reliability.
Consolidate campaign learnings, insights, and repeatable performance patterns into internal benchmarks and best- practice guidelines.
Review overall campaign performance against agreed KPIs at key milestones and ensure optimization decisions align with approved strategies.
Document performance decisions, rationales, and outcomes for internal alignment and future reference.
Monitor data consistency across platforms and reports to identify discrepancies or data loss.
Leadership & Team Management (15%)
Participate in performance reviews, capability assessment, and career development planning for team members.
Allocate workloads, campaigns, and budgets based on team capacity, capability, and priority.
Lead, manage, and develop the Media Buying team to ensure consistent execution quality and performance accountability.
Provide coaching, on- the- job training, and structured performance feedback to improve media thinking, execution quality, and data literacy.
REQUIREMENT
>6 years of experience in Media Buying, Digital Media, or Performance Marketing, preferably in agency environments.
Strong analytical mindset; proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Good English skills for professional communication, presentation, and documentation.
Proven leadership capability with experience managing, coaching, and developing media team members.
Strong understanding of media planning, buying, optimization, and performance measurement across major digital platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok; programmatic is a plus).
College/BA in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
