Associate Product Manager

As a Associate Product Manager, you’ll be:

Learn continuously about the industry, the product and product development, applying that learning to improve self and team.
Represent the voice of the customer and stakeholders when answering questions from the Dev and QA team.
Log and report bugs.
Capture customer needs via user stories & system requirements.
Support the team to troubleshoot issues.
Follow MiTek best practices in agile software development.
Collaborate with Dev teams (Vietnam, US, Europe, APAC) to deliver timely and cost- effective solutions.
Contribute to product discovery efforts with customers and other stakeholders.
Up to two days a week: work a few hours in the evening to co- ordinate with US and UK team members via online meetings.
Willingly support the other projects if needed
Assist with product and team backlog maintenance.

The candidate can work on one of 3 Projects: Kova, Production Machinery Outputs, MiTek Structure

Work primarily onMiTek Structure which models and designs prefabricated solutions so MiTek customers can manufacture efficiently.
Work primarily onProduction Machinery Outputswhich is desktop- based software that drives factory machinery for Roof, Wall and Floor component manufacturers, so that they can achieve high throughput and minimal waste.
Work primarily onKovawhich is web- based software that helps Homebuilders to manage their whole business operation, from acquiring land to offering warranty service post home sale.

Tech skills and experience:

5+ years’ experience in working with software product
Experience of using and evaluating software products
Strong desire to build a high- quality product
Ability to plan and organize

Soft skills:

Ability to work in a team
Determined and curious
Good problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills
Proficiency in English

Nice to have these experiences:

Knowledge of Machinery file formats, Component Manufacturing or related software a plus
Experience in working with teams to build software products is a plus
Knowledge of Home Building industry, processes, or software a plus
Experience in a previous software product role is a plus
