JOB DESCRIPTION
Assists and takes direction from other product team members in understanding customer needs and specifying requirements for a MiTek software product in alignment with the product vision. Works with software developers and SQA to determine solutions and ensure that the targeted customer needs are met. Provides technical support assistance and training on new features and functionality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrates strong understanding of the industry relevant to their product responsibilities
Effectively follows existing MiTek best practices in software development
Demonstrates expertise in targeted software product or specific product capabilities
Clearly conveys project status and progress toward milestones
Understands and leads software implementation practices
Stays current with software technologies and standards in software development
Drives project timing and key deliveries
Leads customer exchanges and discovery efforts
Works with software team to deliver valuable solutions on time
Actively manages a backlog for software products / projects
Understands and captures customer needs via user stories / requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
3+ Years Experience working in a software development environment preferred
Able to perform mathematical skills such as calculating proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and able to apply concepts of basic geometry
3+ Years Experience with product management methodologies preferred
3+ Years Industry knowledge and experience preferred
Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis
Bachelors Related Field required
