About this role:
As a strategic lead within the Marketing and Platform Operations team, the Assortment Planner orchestrates the intersection of data intelligence and commercial strategy to maximize market share and bottom- line growth. By architecting a precision- driven product assortment, this role eliminates revenue leakage, optimizes inventory health, and preserves margins through sophisticated pricing and markdown management. Beyond financial metrics, the position is pivotal in defining the brand’s value proposition—curating a seamless customer journey that mitigates choice complexity while establishing a distinct, high- performance competitive advantage in the digital landscape.
Product Selection & Quantity Planning:
Suggest product mix & quantity for the Sourcing team to purchase and the Merchandising team to build commercial activities accordingly.
Choose brands and products that meet target customer demands of the platform.
Analyze market trends (e.g. best- sellers by category Cosmetics/Body Care/Skin Care) and identify potentials (upcoming seasons).
Pricing Strategy & PnL Control:
Set up, monitor and timely adjust selling prices across programs/activities to ensure both top- line performance (GMV growth, Order growth, Traffic growth) and bottom- line targets (PnL).
Develop tiered promotional pricing by programs (e.g. Membership, Group Buy, Flash Sale) to optimize buyer experience while ensuring profitability targets and legal compliance.
Standardize & govern pricing logic & methodologies across functional teams (i.e. Sourcing, Merchandising, Finance).
Sales Performance & Inventory Management:
Work with relevant teams to balance core items&039; continuity with seasonal/trendy products.
Evaluate individual product performance (sell- out vs sell- in) to timely adjust the total product mix.
Prepare periodic reports for management & propose solutions for clearance (when needed).
What you should have

Proven project management and organizational skills.
Ability to learn new software with ease.
Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets, knowledge of other tools (SQL, Power BI) is a plus.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Demonstrated agility in adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical skills to identify trends.
3- 5 years in Assortment/Merchandise Planning (preferred industries: e- commerce, retail, FMCG).

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday: from 08:30 AM to 05:30 PM (Alternative Saturdays).
