Automation Engineer

Key objectives
- Specialist in Operations Technology. Administrator of discipline standards and documentation (SOPs). Focused on innovation and long term plans. Provides substantiation for replacement strategy to decision makers. Also support in solving day to day basis OT, instrument related issues
- Follow Company regulations about safety, health and environment
Job Responsibilities
In order to control and improve the Operational Technology, an engineer OT will perform following task below, but not limited to:
- Assist Maintenance Team Leader in execution of Operational Technology plans and risk studies
- Design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions in food processing industry
- Develop user requirement specifications along with software & hardware design specifications
- Remains up-to-date in terms of expertise and applies relevant knowledge/developments
- Manages and develops the document management system
- Maintains asset register (CMDB) and applies discipline standards & documentations (SOP)
- Establishes long-term plan for replacements including risk and lifetime costs
- Prepares revisions and assists with execution/testing
- Does technical improvement proposals for optimal availability, reliability and costs
- Prepares and executes projects and modifications
- Supports/advises in multidisciplinary projects
- Evaluates projects design and maintains contact with suppliers
- Supports with process optimizations
- Carries out fault analyses, assists with complex breakdown analyses and trains maintenance personnel
- Manages MES domain, Scada and PLC. Guarantees availability, reliability and validated status
- Manages SLAs for applications, servers and networks
- Design and implement small changes regarding OT and assists in complex RCA
- Manages procedures and management of change (updates, etc.)
- Responsible for release management (projects)
- Responsible for service catalogue management (SC, SLR)
- Focus of engineering activities depending on site’s need
- Accountable for OT & instrument materials, ordering strategy and coordination with spare parts officers for spares arrangement
- Manage and provide plan instrument calibration follow HACCP plan, ISO, Foqus
- Specialist in instrument and calibration aspect
- Familiar with management system (MPF, ISO, Foqus…) and experience as a auditee
- Understand and experience with maintenance for quality analysis machines.
