Automation/Manual Tester Playwright

Willing to learn new skills and tools
Identify and report software defects in a clear and concise manner
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry- standard automation tools
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation testing process
Work closely with cross- functional teams to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues
Collaborate with software developers and quality assurance teams to understand project requirements and functionality

Basic knowledge of SQL database
3- 5 years of experience in software testing
Embraces a shift- left mindset
Willingness to perform manual testing when required
Ability to write clear, structured test cases for enterprise software systems, and gather business requirements
Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback
A strong team player—able to work closely with the senior test engineer, fellow software testers, and developers to achieve effective test coverage.
Good communication and collaboration skills
Experience creating and maintaining test scripts in TypeScript or JavaScript
2–3 years of experience developing end- to- end automation tests for web applications using tools such as Playwright
Strong experience with manual regression, functional, and exploratory testing
Strong problem- solving skills and keen attention to detail
English

The following is considered highly advantageous

Experience working with Agile methodology and project/test management tools (Jira, Confluence, TestRail)
Knowledge of writing BDD test cases
Experience with GitHub (or equivalent git- based versioning BitBucket etc)
API testing experience (e.g., Postman)
ISTQB Foundation Level certification
Basic understanding of AI concepts
