Automation QC Engineer

Perform functional testing, including API testing, integration testing, end- to- end testing, regression tests, and carry out non- functional testing.
Actively participate in sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies, providing insights into quality and testing progress.
Research new technologies available and its proper application; make suggestions/contributions for the improvement of software testing/quality.
Collaborate with developers, BAs, and scrum teams to ensure thorough understanding and coverage of testing requirements.
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Fitnesse.
Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with the team to resolve issues.
Analyze, design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications.
Collaborate closely as part of the development team by providing a client viewpoint.

Must have:

Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and test- driven development, especially in Agile environments.
Experience with API testing, SQL databases, and integration testing.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software QA/QC testing.
A willingness to learn and adopt new automation technologies is a significant advantage.
A confident and dynamic attitude with a proactive approach to problem- solving.
Experience with Software Automation in using automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Fitnesse
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice to have:

Experience with APM tools such as Datadog, AppInsight.
Experience with CI/CD, Azure, C.
ISTQB Certificate.
Experience with Non- functional testing such as Performance testing, Resilience testing, Security testing.
