JOB DECRIPTIONS
Implementation:

Ensure testing adheres to organizational standards and complies with industry best practices.
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify software defects.
Identify and report key quality metrics, including test coverage and defect density.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand application requirements and use cases.

Problem Solving

Debug, troubleshoot, and document software issues in coordination with development teams.

Tech savvy:

Regularly update and refine test automation frameworks to align with project requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge

Knowledge of database testing with SQL queries and tools.
Understanding of BDD/TDD practices and related tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
Awareness of performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
Knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript…
Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and life cycles (e.g., Agile).

Skills/Experience

3+ years of experience working as an Automation Software Tester.

Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and project priorities.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues.
Experience in creating robust automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high- quality software products.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross- functional teams.
