Automation Test Lead QA QC / Tester

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Automation Test Lead to take ownership of a critical payment solution initiative for one of our global clients. This is a strategic leadership role that blends hands- on technical expertise with project delivery oversight in a collaborative, multinational environment.
As an Automation Test Lead at Endava, you will oversee the full software testing lifecycle, delivering successful projects using Agile Scrum. You’ll be responsible for developing test strategies, test plans, and implement automated tests to ensure software quality. Working directly with global stakeholders, you’ll support Agile development initiatives and play a key role in delivering new products that align with customer needs.
Responsibilities:

Leading and managing a team of testers, driving innovation, ensuring effective testing strategies and test case execution.
Serve as the technical liaison between clients, stakeholders, teams, and leadership.
Applying quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product life cycle.
Stay current with new technologies and engage in tech communities.
Analyzing users stories, use cases and requirements, and collaborating closely with other team members.
Designing, developing, maintaining and extending automation scripts using various frameworks and programming languages.
Executing all levels of testing, detecting and tracking software defects and inconsistencies.

Technical Skills

Experience in creating comprehensive test strategy, test plan, test scenario, and test report.
ISTQB CTFL Certification or equivalent quality assurance certification is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing tools is a plus.
Experience in building automation testing frameworks from scratch.
Overall 8+ years of working experiences in Testing, with 4+ years working in Automation Testing.
Experience in OOP & Java programming.
Experience in Web Services & API automated testing.
Good knowledge in SQL query.

Soft Skills

Ability to work in a fast- paced, collaborative environment.
Experienced in leading testing teams.
Quickly adapt to new technologies and acquire domain knowledge.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
Skilled in managing stakeholder expectations with excellent client- facing abilities.
