Automation Test Leader

Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead and coordinate daily activities of the testing team, ensuring alignment with project priorities.
Allocate tasks effectively to maximize productivity and meet delivery timelines.
Mentor and support testers on both technical skills and domain understanding of stock exchange operations.
Support career development of team members through feedback and on- the- job training.

Test Planning & Execution

Oversee and participate in execution of functional, integration, regression and UAT.
Ensure tests address critical aspects of the stock exchange and security trading domain.
Develop and maintain detailed test plans, scenarios, and test data specific to stock exchange workflows.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage across web, mobile, API, and backend layers.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with Product Owners, BAs, Developers, and other stakeholders to clarify business rules, market regulations, and trading workflows.
Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders.
Collaborate with automation engineers to ensure high- value test scenarios are automated where possible.

Quality Assurance & Best Practice

Track and analyze defect trends to identify improvement opportunities.
Support integration of testing activities with CI/CD pipe lines where applicable.
Ensure adherence to test processes and quality standards.

Experience & Leadership

Hands- on experience with test management tools (e.g., Testmo, Xray), bug tracking (e.g., JIRA), and documentation (e.g., Confluence).
Strong domain knowledge of stock exchange and securities trading.
5+ years of software testing experience, including 2+ years in a Test Lead or equivalent role.
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.

Technical Skills

Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Appium) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) is an advantage.
Solid understanding of software testing principles and types (UI, API, Backend, Performance).

Soft Skills

Strong communication and problem- solving abilities.
English communication skills for work- related discussions.
Proactive and detail- oriented mindset.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast- moving trading environment.

Nice- to- Have

Automation testing skills.
Experience in performance and latency testing for trading systems.
