Automation Tester

Improve release cycle times by reducing regression testing time.
Collaborate with QA Analyst and Software Developers.
Fully cover tests and design test cases clearly for different types of systems and tests.
Use test automation guidelines and participate in planning activities.
Be responsible for test automation framework design and architecture on medium complexity solutions.
Research issues in software through testing.
Design and develop automated test scripts over different platforms.

Must have:

Good at English.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer;
Good understanding of Message Schema, RAML/OAS Specifications, and Message Request- Response mechanism;
Good understanding of HTTP, JSON protocol and syntax;
Working experience in Agile methodology/SAFe with ‘in- sprint’ automation;
Experience in Rest Assured/ Karate, API Testing, Cucumber, BDD methodology and Gherkin syntax;
Experience in implementation of OOPS concepts in automation frameworks;
Solid automation experience with Core Java/Python Selenium, Webdriver;
Good Understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE);

Nice to have:

Understanding of cloud- based architecture (preferably AWS);
Understanding of any API testing tools like – POSTMAN, Rest Client, Anypoint, etc;
Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
Been able to understand Retail Banking functions/requirements;
Understanding of STUB/Service virtualization;
Good understanding of Kubernetes and Docker capabilities;
