Automation Tester

Responsibilities
We&039;re seeking experienced and talented automation testing engineers to ensure software quality through test execution and defect reporting. You’ll collaborate with development teams to enhance software performance and functionality.

Train and coach junior QC engineers
Daily / Weekly / On- demand report the progress and status of the assigned tasks
Follow the project and organization and regulations
Communicate status, risks and issues to senior management and team members
Drive QC process and standard changes to benefit high- performing teams
Oversee the creation and execution of test cases and test scripts
Ensure the assigned tasks to be performed on- time and with high quality
Evangelize the QC practice and the QC professionals in the team
Guide the automation testing efforts and liaise with leads to ensure any developed QC frameworks are reusable across similar technologies

­Essential Skills

Good knowledge in Java, detailed instruction writing, and possess a strong passion for testing, test execution, test report, portal
Good English communication skill (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment
Solid knowledge of testing methodologies covering test levels, static test, and dynamic testing
Careful, proactive and quick in learning new domains to provide high testing quality
Familiarity with Unix commands, scripting, and Linux is essential
At least 2 years of experience in software industry as Quality Control Engineer / Tester
