Backend Developer

PURPOSE AND SCOPE
In this role, you will build backend for our projects and participate in technology discussions to build top of class solutions.
As a Backend Developer, you will participate in all aspects of software development. You will help VELA&039;s development teams successfully build digital logistics platform initiatives of varying sizes and complexities.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create documentation for the code and functionality you develop
- Assist in estimations as well as architecture definitions and documentation of new solutions
- Ensure adherence to client security and compliance requirements.
- Work in close collaboration with technology leads to identify and build the best possible solutions
- Build solutions using backend technologies
- Identify and communicate potential risks and dependencies to project management.
- Propose initiatives to improve integration technologies and processes.
- Follow and contribute to the VELA development standards and guidelines
- Take functional requirements and turn them into recommendations on how to implement, use, and maintain websites

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEComputer Science Degree or qualifications in a related discipline2- 3 years’ experience programming in the information technology field with experience related to this position’s role; or an appropriate combination of education and technology field related experience.KEY SKILLS· C, OOP, .NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework, Dependency injection, Unit Test, MediatorR, Ocelot API Gateway.· MySQL, MongoDB, Redis· Clean Architect· Identity Server 4· Docker· Micro- service· Kafka, Rabbitmq, DaprPREFERRED SKILLS· .NET· C
