Backend Developer JavaScript/TypeScript/NestJS/SQL

You’ll join a small, friendly, international team. Together, we’ll build fast, smart tools for chefs and food businesses.
We’re looking for a NestJS developer who is confident with TypeScript and enjoys writing clean, efficient server- side code.

APIs – Build APIs that connect the frontend, backend, and third- party tools
Database – Design, manage, and speed up our PostgreSQL database
Performance – Make sure everything runs fast, securely, and reliably
Backend Logic – Write and improve the logic that runs on the server
Testing – Test and debug your work to keep things stable and bug- free
Integrations – Work with other systems like payments, support tools, and analytics

Experience

Basic English communication skills
Database Knowledge: Excellent understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
Version Control: Experience with code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript: Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, including their core concepts.
3+ years of experience
Front- End Familiarity: Basic knowledge of front- end technologies.
RESTful APIs: Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.
Experience with unit tests.
Server Deployment: Understanding of server deployment processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
