About the job
We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our Spartan Team. We desire someone who is passionate about building and testing software, and who enjoys collaborating closely with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional software solutions. In this role, you&039;ll tackle challenging problems, engage with the latest technology stack, and collaborate with skilled engineers to make a significant contribution.
Responsibilities

Design and build large- scale microservices for various startups
Work with a cross- functional team to deliver timely, high- quality, and well- tested code.
Conduct Code Review within our Code Review Guidelines and ensure community contributions receive a quick response.
Observe and enforce standards regarding code quality and test coverage.
Confidently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members.

What we&039;ll love about you

Fluent in English, able to communicate directly with customers
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science or related field.
3- 5+ years of experience with one of the following programming languages: Java, Kotlin, Ruby, Python, Go, Rust, or similar.
Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
Positive and solution- oriented mindset.
Deep understanding of the value of dependency injection and testing.
Solid coding practices, including writing technical specifications, peer code review, and unit & integration testing.
Self- motivated and self- managing, with strong organizational skills.
An inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility.
Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers and clear status updates.

Nice to have:

Experience with DevOps/ SRE.
Experience with AI/LLM will be a big plus.
