Backend Engineer (Node.js/Golang)freeC's Client

Optimize the performance of data processing and storage systems as data volume grows rapidly over time.
Develop backend APIs to support features such as stock symbol search, pushing new content, managing data sources, etc.
Design a semantic search system based on embeddings and vector databases.
Integrate data into AI systems using the Retrieval- Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture.
Design and develop a multi- source data collection system: crawlers, APIs, RSS feeds, etc.
Build and operate data pipelines for large- scale data processing, normalization, and storage (ETL).

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and hands- on experience with RAG architecture and AI data pipelines.
Proficient in working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
Understanding and Applying Embeddings in Text Data Processing.
Strong system thinking skills, capable of organizing code and data models for maintainability and scalability.
At least 3 years of experience in backend development with strong proficiency in Node.js and/or Golang.
Worked with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Qdrant, etc.).
Experience in building data collection systems or ETL pipelines.

NICE TO HAVE

Ability to evaluate data quality, filter noise, and process natural language data (NLP).
Experience in building AI systems for financial or news analysis.
Knowledge of the stock market and financial data types.
