Backend Engineer (Sign-On Bonus)

Contribute to the overall architecture, scalability, and quality of our backend systems.
Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
Collaborate closely with a small, agile team through scrum rituals, prototyping, and code reviews.
Translate business and customer needs into reliable, high- performance applications.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and help evolve our microservices architecture.

Strong problem- solving and analytical skills.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and backend architecture.
Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
4+ years of professional experience working with Node.js (ES6).
Able to write clean, maintainable, and well- documented code.
Intermediate English communication skills — you&039;re willing to grow with us.
Familiar with unit testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha, and passionate about code quality.
Experienced with Express.js, MongoDB, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
[Nice to have]
Hands- on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, ECS, Lambda).
Familiarity with message queues (e.g., Kafka, SQS).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, ECS).
Familiar with authentication/authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
