Backend NodeJS Dev (JavaScript, English)

Avian Jets is looking to expand its team with a back-end or fullstack developer to work as the right hand of the current lead developer. All products of Avian Jets is created in-house and needs an extra hand to keep on track with our set roadmap.

Once hired, you will be working with teams around the world. Therefore, fluency in English (speaking and writing) is a must. As you’ll be working as a team, it’s important to be a team player, easy to work with and keep a positive spirit amongst other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
• Write testable quality code based on feature requests and maintain and refactor current code.
• Collaborate with the team to define the specifications for new features.
• Help the team to improve workflow by creating and optimising automatic jobs and CI/CD processes.

Required skills:

• At least 5 years of proven knowledge as a back-end or full stack developer.
• You know at least 2 programming languages of which one is NodeJS.
• Proven experience with REST APIs and micro services.
• You understand CI/CD and have at least some experience in its implementation.
• You have no problem understanding English and your written English is good.
• (Not required, but a big plus) You’re familiar with front-end, and not afraid to get involved.
