Mô tả công việc

• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members to effectively manage performance. Prepare and present annual employee performance evaluations
• Manage the development of the drink menu, including cocktail menu development, wine and beer selections, including seasonal changes
• Train staff while creating and maintaining a professional, collaborative work environment.
• Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
• Dedicated to creating personalized experiences and lasting memories for our guests
• Understanding of classic and modern cocktail techniques, food pairing,etc.
• Assist the team on the floor in all functions as needed: bartending, serving, wine service, seating guests.
• Stand for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
• Use professional and polished language in all written and oral communication
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of all bartenders to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of each location.
• Oversee for cleanliness, organization and housekeeping/maintenance standards
• Maintain proper posture while at the desk and work area.
• Maintain relationship with vendors to ensure beverage program is set up for continued success
• Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions
• Have full knowledge of Bar menu
• Other duties as assigned
• Lead with passion and enthusiasm with a commitment to excellence and a creative approach to Food & Beverage
• Oversee the storage and organization of all alcoholic products, adhering to the proper organization and temperature standards
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service, focused on the highest standards of service and hospitality
• Understanding the concept of the Bar, the vibe and the story.
• Adhere to hotel grooming standards at all times
• Enter and locate work- related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
• Follow all safety policies
• Oversee the selection, training and development of bar team members to ensure timely recruitment and career growth
• Drive innovative promotions, menus and concepts; creating a destination of choice for both hotel and external guests
• Ensure the implementation of the highest standards in guest service, constantly seek out ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profits

Yêu cầu công việc

• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Knowledge with Wine, Spirits, Beer and other beverages required.
• Education: High school diploma, college degree preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and trends and create strategies for improvement.
• Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred.
• Decent organizational and computer skills.
• Experience: Previous experience as a bar manager or head bartender preferred.
• Sommelier qualification an asset.
• Strong culinary and wine knowledge.
• Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
• Solid understanding of inventory control systems
• Understanding of beverage control including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, costs controls, beverage potentials, mix of sales analysis for beverage, issue & returns, food standards, and inventory.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast- paced environment and have a high- level attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
• Ability to build and maintain beverage, spirit, cocktail lists/programs.
• Creative, effective leader and team player, possessing a high degree of professionalism, sound human resources management principles, communication, administrative skills and the ability to make sound and timely business decisions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight and overtime when needed.
