MAIN SCOPE AND PURPOSE:
Responsible for taking orders correctly and delivered in a timely manner. Preparation of a variety of drinks and cocktails consistently in high quality. Assure great customer engagement by being enthusiastic and assist them in decision- making. Also, ensure that they are having a great time and experience, and take corrective actions when necessary. Perform regular cleaning activity to meet the highest sanitary standards and workplace hygiene.
Main duties and responsibilities:

Greeting guests and presenting them with a menu in a friendly and timely manner
Attend all scheduled training and development sessions
Implementing alcohol awareness; knowing when to stop serving customers, checking for identification as to not serve minors, keeping an eye on customers and thinking ahead regarding their level of intoxication and alcohol consumption.
Follow and apply procedures, lessons, and information learned during training
Maintain consistent and excellent standard of cleanliness in all aspects of the bar
Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards
Maintain and replenish stock levels by placing timely orders
Assisting guests with recommendations, taking into consideration their preferences and our most profitable items
Collect reviews and likes for Facebook and TripAdvisor
Performing regular control and maintenance of items for smooth operation
Correct and consistent quality in preparation of drinks
Checking with customers to make sure they are enjoying their drinks and taking appropriate action to correct any problems
Informing guests about special items and menu changes / availability
Ability to deal with and correctly respond to customer complaints

Skilled in handling situations, under high pressure;
Experience in an equivalent position in a restaurant/bar in a hotel/hostel/resort environment is an advance.
Agility, honesty, effective communication skills, willingness to work in shifts, overtime, public holidays.
Ability to communicate in English
