Position Summary: The Bartender is responsible for crafting and serving beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner. This role involves maintaining the bar area, ensuring inventory is well- stocked, and delivering a high- quality guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of beverage preparation, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast- paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.
Stay updated on bar menu offerings and recommend beverages to guests based on their preferences.
Collaborate with the F&B team to ensure seamless service during peak times and special events.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the bar area meets sanitation standards.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring the bar is fully stocked with necessary supplies and ingredients.
Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as necessary according to local laws and company policies.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring a pleasant experience.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area for events and special occasions.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, escalating issues to the F&B Manager when necessary.
Operate the point- of- sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and balances daily sales at the end of each shift.

Requirement:
Knowledge of local alcohol laws and regulations.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
Basic understanding of health and safety standards in food and beverage service.
1 to 2 years of experience as a bartender in a high- volume environment, preferably in a hotel or upscale bar.
In- depth knowledge of beverage preparation, including cocktails, wine, and beer.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
Proficiency in operating a point- of- sale (POS) system and handling cash transactions.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Good communication skills in English; additional languages like Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean are an advantage.
