Big Data Engineer

In this role, you’ll build and operate data systems driving disruptive products, collaborate with a skilled development team, and provide technical insights to influence business and product decisions. What will you do?
● Monitoring data performance and modifying infrastructure as required.
● Build and maintain systems for storing and processing large- scale data.
● Collect and process raw data at scale for various projects and initiatives.
● Develop scalable and reliable ETL pipelines to ingest and process diverse data types (structured, semi- structured, traffic, etc.) from multiple sources.
● Monitor data infrastructure performance and apply improvements as needed.
● Work with the engineering team to integrate data pipelines into production systems.
● Supporting business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed

Yêu cầu công việc

● Hands- on experience with object- oriented or functional programming languages (e.g., Python).
● Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
● 1–2 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
● Familiarity with Data Quality Platform is a big plus.
● Excellence with various OLTP and OLAP databases and data warehouses: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, DuckDB, etc.
● Knowledge of data visualization tools like Metabase, Looker Studio, etc.
● Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Nifi, Airflow, DBT, etc.
● Good English communication skills (both written and verbal).
● Strong skills in data modeling and SQL optimization for efficient data processing and querying.
● Strong problem- solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data and software issues.
● Basic knowledge of big data tools and frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
● Familiarity with monitoring and optimizing data systems for performance is a plus.
