Big Data Software Engineer 15-18M Gross

Pique is turbocharging digital businesses’ engagement and revenue growth with truly 1:1 content & product recommendations. We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer with strong technical skills, a collaborative work ethic and teamwork spirit to join the Big Data team. You should be able to work in a demanding environment, collaborating closely with other developers and product managers in our projects.
In this role, you will:
•Be part of an agile team, working closely with product managers, designers and technical leads to ideate, prototype, build and test new products or features. In short, you take ownership of your work and leads the effort from architecture, implementation, deployment and testing
•Write clean and reusable code with unit / functional tests and continually increase your code quality
•Implement and deploy micro-services on cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
•Select and integrate any Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities
•Maintain the product systems (Kafka, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, TensorFlow Serving)
•Monitor performance and advise any necessary infrastructure changes
•Set up CI-CD for big infrastructure

•Monitoring: Cloud Watch, NetData, Sentry, Newrelic, GrayLog

Our ideal candidate has:
•University degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or similar
•2 years of experience as a Software Engineer
•Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Service, Azure)
•Solid experience of software development (Python, Nodejs)
•Team player spirit & familiarity with collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence)
•Good to have: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
•Good to have: Experience developing full-stack, multi-platform apps, Web/App security
•Good to have: Experience with devops automation tools, CI/CD
