BIM Coordinator ( ARC/MEP/CSE)

* Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure that BIM models are being used effectively to improve design coordination and communication
- Ensure that BIM data is being managed and archived appropriately for future use
- Where necessary, participate in project presentations and meetings with on the deign team and BIM Manager to promote new BIM methodologies, tools, and techniques which may help in enhancing project productivity.
- Experience in working under quality systems, specifically the check and review process
- To be familiar with BIM/Revit software.
- Must have some appreciation of interfacing with architectural, MEP and structural disciplines
- Contribute to the development of the BIM Execution plan for each project, and ensure that deliverables for each phase of the project are in produced in line with the prescribed BEP.· Coordinate closely with the project team in conjunction with the BIM Manager, and ensure good BIM modelling housekeeping, especially as model complexity and documentation volume increases.
- Assist the BIM Manager to provide BIM training and support to project team members, as needed
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Assist the BIM Manager in reviewing BIM models and data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements
- Must be able to learn and retain new skills quickly from a variety of sources and show potential to work with limited supervision.
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both written and verbal.
- Exposure to infrastructure design processes also advantageous
- Manage and mentor a team of BIM modelers, providing guidance and support to ensure that BIM standards and procedures are being followed Work closely with the BIM team members across all principle disciplines especially with regard to LOD, clash detection and rectification, and problem solving.
- Working in teams to meet required deadlines
- Good grasp of engineering principles and spatial co- ordination within the chosen discipline.
- Intimate knowledge of industry standard layouts and nomenclature

- Strong problem- solving skills
- Experience with BIM data management and interoperability tools such as BIM 360, ProjectWise, and Solibri is preferred.
- Experience with developing BIM routines, such as by using Dynamo, or other third- party BIM add- in software is preferred
- Ability to manage and collaborate with multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with BIM authoring tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Revizto and AutoCAD
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross- functional teams
- Strong communication skills and proactiveness is a must,
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in BIM modelling. Experience in BIM management would be advantageous.
- In- depth knowledge of BIM technologies, tools, and methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
