Boat Mechanical Design Engineer - Engineering Boat

- Furthermore, it is required to develop cost efficient and modularized subsystems, in cooperation with the responsible CoEs, which also need to be maintained for a serial production setup.
- The mechanical engineer is responsible for the design of metal structures, components, assemblies, outfitting of boats and preparation of the technical documentation according to technical department procedures, customer requirements and international standards.
- The mechanical engineer needs to have a good knowledge of the CAD, PLM and ERP system. Work on these system to complete design and link to system.
- Also, the capabilities of the internal- and external supplier/production network need to be considered to create cost efficient components.
- Participate in improving product quality and increasing labor productivity

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, structrural design (GRP or Metal), or floating equipment design.

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Technics. Majoring in floating equipment, ship building or mechanical engineering
Experience & knowledge
- Familiar with 2D CAD software and mechanical 3D software ( e.g. Inventor,Solid edge, Autocad ..)
- Familiar with product line management software
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in technical roles within the mechanical engineering, ship and canoe building.
- Understand the requirements of the quality management system
