The IT Business Analyst is responsible for overseeing the business analysis function within the IT department, ensuring that business needs are accurately captured, analysed, and translated into technical solutions. This role requires an understanding of both business processes and IT systems, enabling the analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the IT team. The IT Business Analyst will manage requirements gathering, and work closely with project managers, developers, and business units to deliver high- quality projects that align with business objectives. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our company’s technology initiatives and help drive innovation.

How will you make a difference?
Business Analysis and Requirements Management:
Ensure requirements are clearly understood and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT development.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Manage expectations and ensure clear communication of project goals, scope, and timelines.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT team.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to align IT solutions with business needs.
Project Oversight and Delivery:
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
Work closely with project managers and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise related to business requirements or process alignment.
Strategic Planning and Process Improvement:
Stay up- to- date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the business analysis function.
Contribute to the development of IT strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Documentation and Reporting:
Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
Provide regular reports on project status, business analysis activities, and team performance to senior management.
