Business Analyst

MercTechs is now looking for a results- driven and analytically- minded Business Analyst to contribute to our team within the technology sector, especially in the Manufacturing industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, encompassing use cases, functional specifications, and intricate workflow diagrams
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless integration of the MES with existing systems, guaranteeing a cohesive technological environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for implementing a robust Manufacturing Execution System (MES) within the manufacturing environment.
Lead and support the testing phase by formulating and executing test scenarios, meticulously documenting test results, and ensuring the accuracy and efficacy of the system.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams to conduct in- depth analyses of existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose and implement process enhancements to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Actively participate in stakeholder meetings and regular discussions with the technical team to facilitate effective communication and project alignment.
Contribute to user training and extend support during the implementation phase, ensuring smooth user adoption and system utilization

REQUIREMENTS

Proficiency in using Google Office Suite, Figma, Draw.io, Balsamiq, and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst.
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study.
Detail- oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
High- level skills in business process mapping, workflow analysis, and system testing methodologies.

PREFERRED SKILLS
Understanding of manufacturing processes and concepts.

Ability to interpret and analyze data related to manufacturing operations using SQL.
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or other related software.
Experience with SaaS or PaaS solutions.
Familiarity with production workflows, materials planning, and quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to MES, such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and cycle time.
