Business Development Engineer Sick Pte. Ltd.

This individual is responsible for the Development of the business with new and existing customers and partners. Handle incoming vision application requests from the sales teams and develop knowledge of system integrators and partners.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out other assigned work- related jobs by superior
- Willingness to travel and a strong drive to develop business and generate sales.
- Understand and accept the company culture, manage requirements and other sales related regulations
- Participate in solving customer applications together with the customers and SICK&039;s in- house vision engineers
- Support solution providers and system integrators in order to grow their vision competence and product knowledge
- Qualify and prioritize incoming vision application requests from the sales teams, and handle the documentation of the project progress
- Work with colleagues within the entire SICK organization to achieve team goals.
- Develop a close collaboration with partners and customers and make SICK their preferred vision supplier

Job Requirements
- Basic programming understanding / knowledge (e.g., C, C++, etc.)
- Efficient project coordinating skills is a must and project management skills is a plus
- PMP Certification is a plus
- Proficient in Excel and good command in MS Word, PowerPoint and Windows
- Good factory automation knowledge, machine vision application solving experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in factory automation and machine vision
- Good experience in sales or been in a position with frequent customer interactions
- Bachelors&039; Degree or above, preferably in image processing, software development, or electrical engineering. Industrial automation background. or related fields
