Strong coaching skills:
do work with our distribution partner in VN. Their success is our success, so staying very close to our partner and driving our agenda to get sales team’s focus on our product performance is the most critical requirement. Strong business acumen and coaching skills is non- negotiable.
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
thorough market research creatively (we cannot afford for big research but there are many ways to collect market intelligence thru customer, consumer interviews etc) to identify growth opportunities and trends in the FMCG food and beverage industry within Vietnam. Develop a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to the Vietnamese market, including market entry and expansion plans.
Sales and Revenue Generation working closely with our distribution partner:
and execute sales and distribution plans to achieve revenue targets together with our partners. Establish and manage relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers to ensure product placement and sales growth. Critical to know MT customers.
New Product Launch:
product opportunities and lead the successful launch of new products in the market. Develop pricing strategies and go- to- market plans for new products.
Marketing and Brand Promotion:
with Group marketing team to design and execute marketing campaigns to promote our products effectively. Monitor and analyse the impact of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed. Drive PR agenda working with PR agency to leverage small but impactful news we create either in VN or in other countries.
Competitive Analysis:
updated on the competitive landscape, including competitor products, pricing, and market positioning. Use this information to make data- driven decisions and develop strategies for maintaining a competitive edge.
Relationship Building:
strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, trade associations, suppliers, and partners to support business development efforts.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on market performance, sales activities, and results. Analyze sales data and market feedback to make data- driven decisions for continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Sole contributor role, must be able to work independently
Proven experience 10 years within the FMCG or related industry, with a track record in business development or sales roles
Bachelor&039;s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
In- depth knowledge of the FMCG industry, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
Fluent in both Vietnamese and English languages
In- depth knowledge of the Vietnamese FMCG food and beverage market.
