Business Development Specialist

Collaborate with the company’s sales, marketing, and operations team to identify and executive initiatives to improve revenues and enhance cost and operational efficiencies where applicable
End to end involvement in the delivery and launch of new business ventures including marketing research, business model development, transaction structuring and documentation, fundraising, and go to market activities
Working closely with management and appointed third parties across the Company’s portfolio holdings to ensure effective implementation of strategy and KPIs are achieved and the recommendation and execution of corrective actions as necessary; and
Drafting and presenting internal proposals with well- researched analysis and recommendations to the Board and senior management of the Company for approval.
Identify, research, and execute new initiatives and partnerships to grow the company’s product and service offerings
General corporate finance, treasury and capital- raising initiatives

To successfully fill this role, you will have the right attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
A passion for travel, hospitality and education;
At least 2 years of prior work experience in a relevant field with responsibility and demonstrated success in leading a team(s) and delivering KPIs;
Finance / accounting degrees and/or accreditations are a plus but not mandatory;
Candidates will need to possess the following attributes:
An understanding of basic financial statements and the ability to perform basic financial modelling;
Excellent organizational, multi- tasking and time management skills with attention- to- detail and a demonstrated ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
Results- oriented with the desire to take ownership of responsibilities and see matters through to fruition / resolution in a timely manner;
Desire to work smart and pro- actively and thrive in a fast- paced, entrepreneurial environment;
Communication and people skills is a must to coordinate, present and execute across business units, external parties and key stakeholders;
A high standard of written & spoken English, PowerPoint presentation and Excel skills.
Be a storyteller with the ability to articulate and present ideas across departments and to key stakeholders effectively in oral, presentation and written form;
Robust analytical skills and intellectually curious to challenge the status quo; and
